Terms of Service

• You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission.
• You may not use Bulldog where doing so would break local law.
• One account per person. You're responsible for everything done with your account, so keep your password safe.

• Bulldog is an entertainment and educational game. All money, portfolios, trades and winnings are virtual and have no cash value. They can't be withdrawn, sold, transferred or exchanged for anything of value.
• There are no entry fees and no real-money prizes.
• Bulldog is not a broker. No real securities are bought or sold, and we don't hold or manage anyone's money or investments.

Nothing on Bulldog is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Game results don't predict real-world results. Real investing involves risk, including losing money. Talk to a licensed professional before making real investment decisions.

• Prices come from third-party providers (currently IEX exchange data, shown as "IEX Delayed Data"). They may be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and may differ from prices elsewhere.
• Market data is provided "as is" for use within the game only. Don't copy, resell or redistribute it.
• If trades fill at clearly wrong prices because of a data error, a bug or an outage, we may adjust or cancel them to keep the game fair.

You agree not to:

• use bots, scripts, scrapers or any automated way to access Bulldog or place trades;
• exploit bugs, glitches or price errors, or try to get around game rules or limits;
• create multiple accounts to gain an advantage, or share or sell accounts;
• post or use usernames, team names, league names or chat messages that are hateful, harassing, threatening, sexual, violent, illegal, misleading, spam, or that impersonate someone else;
• try to break into, overload, interfere with or reverse-engineer Bulldog or its systems.

The game rules are on the Rules page and are part of these terms.

You keep ownership of what you post (like chat messages and names). You give us permission to store and display it within Bulldog so the service works, including showing it to other players in your leagues. We may remove content or names that break these terms.

League owners control their league's name and invite code. We may remove leagues, members or content that break these terms, and we may correct league results affected by errors or cheating.

Bulldog is free. If we offer paid features in the future (such as "Bulldog Pro"), their price, billing, renewal and cancellation terms will be shown to you before you buy, and those terms will apply alongside these.

• We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other players or the service at risk.
• You can delete your account any time from your Profile page. This permanently removes your portfolios, trades and profile.
• We may change, pause or stop Bulldog, or any part of it, at any time.

Bulldog is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Raphael Landau won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, data or losses from real-world investment decisions, arising from your use of Bulldog. Our total liability for any claim is limited to $50 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, whichever is greater.

You agree to cover us for claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) caused by your breach of these terms or your misuse of Bulldog.

We may update these terms. If changes are significant, we'll let you know in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Bulldog after changes means you accept them.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled in the courts located there, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
